- We have 1 home open yearly.
- We offer everything from fishing, swimming, skiing, bird watching, and have snowmobile and hiking trails near by. We also have a play area for the little ones and sandy beaches for the swimmers.
- Our town has unique stores for those who love to shop. We also have special events throughout the year, including street dances on Thursday evenings.
- It's a wonderful place to get away and just relax, sit by the fire, enjoy the beautiful colors in the fall, along with ice fishing and snowmobiling. The snowmobile trails are right out our back drive.
- Carpenter Lake is a private lake and has great fishing. It is a 353 acre lake containing Walleye, Northern Pike, Crappies, Bass, and Pan fish.

About Dobies
The Dobratz's, Bob and Diane have lived on this property for over 23 years and we wish to share its beautiful surroundings with you. A One bedroom home is available year round weekly or 2 days on beautiful Carpenter Lake, which is a private Lake.
Downtown Eagle River has many unique stores, and events all year round like our Oct. Cranberry fest, Pond Hockey Games, Hockey Rink for Games and Ice Skating In the summer the lake is great for fishing, swimming, skiing, tubing and boating. During the summer the fish house is open for all cleaning of fish. We have 2 piers for all to use. We also have our own private boat launch. The winter months provide an excellent place for snowmobiling, and ice fishing. You can hit the trails right out your back door. Skiing, ice fishing, and even hunting. Each season on Carpenter Lake has it’s own beauty; Spring, Summer, Fall, and even Winter.
Our Kozy Nook is fully furnished and includes a TV, DVD player, bathroom, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, pots & pans, dishes, fans, and filtration system for clear drinking water. Our home is smoke free. Pets are welcomed for additional fee of $125 a week pet owner must not leave pets unattended. They must clean up after pet both inside and out! Kozy Nook comes with the use of a fishing boat,(motors can be rented for a additional fee, but must be reserve ahead of time) You have the use of 1 paddle boat, and a Canoe. Horse shoe pit, basketball hoop, tether ball game. Charcoal Grills, picnic tables, and outside chairs are provided. Fire pit, to be enjoyed by all. Fire wood provided within reason.
Our Kozy Nook is HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE, no steps and walk in shower.
Linens, Towels and life jackets not provided. DEPOSIT IS $200 FOR EACH PLACE! we do not take credit cards, must be check or cash!
